100% rye. Size: 750ml
The rye is locally sourced from within 25 miles of the distillery in the Penns Valley by Clouser Farms. The port barrel is from Napa Valley and Robert Biale Vineyards. Aged for 3.5 years in new American oak and then 1.5 in the Hungarian oak port barrels. The time in the port barrels rounds things out and adds sweet raisin and plum notes on top of the whiskey which still comes through on the palate.
